Oceanside is the home of the Ironman 70.3 Oceanside event that is taking place in early April this year. This event happens to be a favorite for Ironman participants as they have the chance to swim through Oceanside Harbor, bike through an active military base, and run past the beautiful sunset of Oceanside. This incredible event will have thousands of people cheering from the sidelines providing encouragement for the athletes who have trained rigorously for this time. Best of all the finish line is found over at The Strand, one of our most exciting spots in town. Come cheer on local and international athletes from the sidelines. Entry into the Ironman 70.3 Oceanside is done well in advance and is for seasoned athletes or those who have trained for the event itself. First Friday Oceanside Art Walk

The First Friday Oceanside Art Walk is once again returning after its popular previous years here in the area. The First Friday Oceanside Art Walk takes place once a month and continues throughout the summer season. This year’s season will start on April 4^th for an incredible experience that you need to see in person. Over 50 different talented artists will be on hand selling their handcrafted works of art. You can discover one of a kind art pieces from local artists that make for a perfect gift to bring back home with you. Live music will be held all throughout the walk to kick up the fun a notch. The First Friday Oceanside Art Walk will be held in April on April 4^th at the Oceanside Civic Center from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This is an all ages event so bring the whole family!

Paint and Pour at Kilowatt Brewing

For a fun date idea during your visit take your loved one over to Paint and Pour, an exciting painting and beer sipping event held at Kilowatt Brewing. This exciting event invites all art experience levels to paint a picture while sipping on Kilowatt Brewing’s tasty ales. The event is being held at the Kilowatt Brewing taproom and will take place on Saturday April 12^th. Registration in advance is required for the event.

Earth Day Community Event at Alamosa Park

Each year Oceanside hosts our Earth Day Community Event that is a family friendly Earth Day event.
