Cozy Beach Bungalow

If you can tear yourself away from the views from the front porch (a decision made easier by the realization that the views are just as amazing from inside!) step inside the living room of our Pacific Bungalow and discover a space filled with light. Engineered hardwood floors resemble the driftwood that can often be found on the beach, only lacking the splinters and roughness and feeling smooth and cool beneath bare feet. The entire front wall of the living area is punctuated with wide windows that frame those views and create a portrait of the perfect beach vacation; even the front door is more glass than wood, ensuring that there are no obstructions! The sleeper sofa is a soft gray in color, contrasting with the sea blue walls and the television is placed opposite the sofa and mid-century modern coffee table, offering alternative forms of entertainment, again, if you can tear yourself away from those views!

The kitchen of Pacific Bungalow is equally bright, featuring crisp white painted countertops, modern conveniences, and an open pantry offering small appliances that will continue your enjoyment of your Pacific Ocean escape, including a coffeemaker that will help you start each morning properly caffeinated and greet each sunset with your favorite frothy tropical beverage! The dining area tucked away in between the living room and kitchen, is perched in front of the windows, allowing guests to enjoy dinner with a view; the mid-century modern vibe of the table and chairs adds a charming appeal to the space.

The spacious bedroom features a queen bed and another flat-screened television that hangs on the wall opposite and is a space filled with the serenity of the sea and the tranquility of a posh retreat. The bathroom in this cozy cottage offers marble tiled walls, a porcelain pedestal sink, and a walk-in shower.

An expansive deck peers out onto a well-appointed yard, in which guests will find a barbecue for grilling, lounge chairs for relaxing, and a hammock for quiet naps cooled by ocean breezes. The yard of Pacific Bungalow is surrounded by fencing, giving up to two doggos a safe and fun place to run, and conveniently, this cottage is pet friendly! A patio table with umbrella and wicker chairs is the ideal place to enjoy a sunset dinner and an array of chairs, in addition to the loungers, gives every guest a place to enjoy a beautiful California day. Beach gear and a cornhole game are provided for the guests’ use and stored in a corner of the bungalow.

The tiny home perched in the backyard greets guests with a small table and two chairs and another door (with its own key code for privacy and safety.) Inside the cozy space is bright, featuring open ceilings lined with bamboo and white beams that cross its expanse, a queen bed topped with silky linens, and a flat-screen television mounted on the wall opposite the bed. A kitchenette provides autonomy for the mother-in-law if she is traveling with you, allowing her to put together her own meals, and provides a charming area with granite countertops, tiny home-sized appliances (refrigerator and stove), and a sink for handwashing dishes. The bathroom of the tiny home is tucked away in the corner of the kitchenette and offers a granite-topped vanity and marble-tiled walk-in shower. Every inch of the tiny room is used to create a space that appears larger than it really is and the comforts found inside will make this space a favorite of all who reside within. It also makes an ideal space for older teens who look forward to vacationing with their family but don’t want to spend every second in their midst; internet access will make all children very happy, and the adults too, especially if they are still working from home!
