Our ground floor features a restaurant that is perfect for your rehearsal dinner. Offering a menu of delicious Cajun-inspired dishes including gumbo, various seafood, chicken, and more. Sides include items like lobster mac, jambalaya, collard greens, and many others. Round everything out with classic beignets. You can also choose from a selection of oyster dishes including raw and charbroiled in “Gulf Coast,” “East Coast,” and “West Coast” styles. Each guest can order their own plate, or we can work with you on a plated group meal as well.
Cococabana
Have your special day surrounded by friends, family, and sea breezes. Our rooftop bar, one of the newest amenities at the hotel, is a 2,100 square foot space that can hold your group of approximately 100 people. The Caribbean-style cocktail bar is a great space for an outdoor gathering. We’ll work with you to create a space for your ceremony, and an efficient way to serve all of your guests for a reception.
The Patio
Perfect for all your wedding event needs, from wedding ceremony and reception to the rehearsal dinner the night before, the cozy patio behind the hotel is another outdoor venue for your perfect day. The space is suitable for you and approximately 50 guests for a more intimate event. You and your sweetheart will say your vows with the California sun shining!

We have relationships with nearby vendors including Frankie’s Cocktail Lounge and the Stone Beer Garden, both in the immediate area, as well as several others. The Hotel
The original structure of the hotel was built in 1888 by John Schuyler as a hardware store. Throughout the years it has changed hands and purposes, each occupant modifying the interior and exterior to meet their needs. We brought back the integrity of the brick building through extensive remodeling. Our hotel is truly boutique, as there are only 10 total guest rooms occupying the second and third floors of the building.
Hotel Suites
You and your sweetheart will want to spend your days and nights in one of our two suites. The second-floor suite boasts large windows with plenty of natural light, queen beds, sitting area, flat screen TVs, mini fridge, storage, and luxury bathroom where you can prepare for every day of your Oceanside stay as well as the basics of your wedding day make up. The third-floor suite has the same features as the second-floor unit with the added bonus of a private balcony with views of the ocean in the distance.
Balcony Rooms
Our balcony rooms are all located on the third floor are the perfect way to treat your family and attendants to a luxury stay. Three of the four rooms with balconies overlook a green space below and the final looks out over the street. Each of these rooms are outfitted with queen beds, flat screen TV, luxury bathroom, mini fridge, storage, and of course the balconies.
Pet Friendly Rooms
If your wedding party includes a pooch, there are rooms for them, too! These rooms are located on the second floor and boast queen beds, luxury bathrooms, mini fridge, storage, flat screen TV, and more. There is an added per-pet, per-night fee.
Standard Rooms
Located on the second floor, our standard rooms are anything but standard. Enjoy a good night’s sleep in a queen bed, then get ready for the day in a luxury bathroom. Store drinks and snacks in the mini fridge, watch a movie or TV show on the flat screen TV, and more.
